The staff of an American magazine based in France puts out its last issue, with stories featuring an artist sentenced to life imprisonment, student riots, and a kidnapping resolved by a chef.

R30 captures the band's $21-million grossing, sell-out 30th Anniversary World Tour and was filmed with 14 hi-definition cameras in 16x9 widescreen format at the Festhalle, Frankfurt Germany on September 24, 2004. That Night in Toronto is a live concert DVD featuring Canadian rock band The Tragically Hip, filmed and directed by filmmaking brothers Pierre and Francois Lamoureux.

Multi-platinum recording artists release their first-ever live DVD. In 2024, GRAMMY®-winning, progressive music titans Dream Theater celebrated their 40th anniversary as a band, as well as the return of founding member Mike Portnoy, with a mammoth tour starting at London's legendary O2 Arena and continuing across the globe. 'Quarantième: Live à Paris' is a live presentation of that tour, filmed and recorded live in Paris in front of a huge audience at the Adidas Arena. Performing tracks from across the band's career, as well as material from their most recent acclaimed studio album, ‘Parasomnia’, this stunning audio/visual release documents a very special time in the band's history.

The Feast On Scraps DVD offers a 2002 concert - essentially a live "greatest hits" performance, and behind-the-scenes footgage Alanis describes as "a conceptual scrapbook filled with snapshots of my experiences over the past two years. From writing/recording and producing Under Rug Swept and Feast On Scraps, a show in Rotterdam and other cities around the world."

Roadrunner United was a project organized by the heavy metal record label Roadrunner Records to celebrate its 25th anniversary. It culminated in an album released worldwide on October 11, 2005, entitled The All-Star Sessions. Four "team captains" were chosen to lead 57 artists from 45 past and present Roadrunner bands, and produce and oversee the album's 18 tracks: Joey Jordison of Slipknot and Murderdolls; Matt Heafy of Trivium; Dino Cazares of Fear Factory, Asesino and Divine Heresy and formerly of Brujeria; and Robert Flynn of Machine Head and formerly of Vio-lence and Forbidden. The unprecedented project was the brainchild of Roadrunner UK General Manager Mark Palmer and Roadrunner USA VP of A&R Monte Conner.

After taking off 12 years, the Stray Cats are back with the outstanding Rumble in Brixton, a rockin' two-CD set recorded on July 17th, 2004 at the Brixton Academy in London. "Snakes & Arrows Live" was filmed with 21 High Definition cameras in 16x9 widescreen format, over two nights in October 2007 at the Netherlands' Ahoy Rotterdam arena. Offering fans a rare and close up look at the prodigious musicianship for which the band is renown, cameras follow the band closely, capturing not only their playing but also the intimacy they share on stage. Satchurated was filmed live on 'The Wormhole Tour' in support of Satriani's new album 'Black Swans And Wormhole Wizards' at the Metropolis in Montreal, Canada on December 12th of 2010. On November 27, 1987 the Cowboy Junkies set up a single microphone inside The Church of the Holy Trinity in Toronto, Ontario and in one day recorded what would become The Trinity Session, a landmark album of originals and covers grounded in traditional country, blues, and folk, with a clear nod to The Velvet Underground. The album would go on to sell millions of copies worldwide and establish the Cowboy Junkies as one of the most influential bands of the alternative era. On February 20th , deadmau5 releases the "Meowingtons Hax 2k11 TORONTO" live DVD featuring one of the biggest live shows in electronic music.
