In 1970s-era Japan, three children, Kazuma Kiryu, Akira Nishikiyama, and his younger sister, Yuko Nishikiyama, are raised together in Shintaro Kazama's Sunflower Orphanage. In an age where domestic wine making had a series of failures in the difference between European climate and soil, a group of young people learned and grew from the ideals of Asai Usuke, a pioneer in Japanese wine. Okamura quits his job and plans to make wine by renting some land to raise grapes with the help of Itoh and Uemera and other college classmates. Meanwhile, Shiroyama starts cultivating wine grapes at a fruit grape farm owned by his wife's family. Taking over his family winery, Takayama overcomes his parent's objection to him raising wine grapes. Undertaking Asai's wine training, they start to make wine.

Ultraman Max was an Ultraman TV series which started airing on 7 July 2005, and produced by Tsuburaya Productions and Chubu-Nippon Broadcasting Co., Ltd.. The show tried to return to the true formula of new monsters every week and being a fast paced show like previous series with the exception of Ultraman Nexus. The show is full of homages to past series by having three of the original cast members from the first Ultraman series being featured in an episode, updated versions of classic monsters like Red King, Eleking and Pigmon among others. One unusual episode revolves around the filming of the 1964 program Ultra Q which was the predecessor to the first Ultraman show in 1966. Two actors from that show appear as themselves.

Dongsoo leads a solitary life, spending his time uploading music to the internet. His ordinary life is upended when he is kidnapped by an organ hunter, who takes out one of his eyes. Soon, Dongsoo is sharing the vision of someone who got his eye. Through the connected vision, he learns that the taker is a notorious serial killer, and pursues the murderer to get his eye back.

The main character of the manga was Ishida Kotori, also known as "QP", the most powerful gangster in his area. The drama will shift its focus onto Azuma Ryo, Kotori's close friend, who has some hidden ambitions.
