Ruthlessly determined to succeed at any cost, Amos Mason ( Willard Louis ) comes to New York with his fiancee, Ann Sherman ( June Marlowe ). Shirley has an affair with Douglas White but becomes disgusted with illicit sex when she believes him to be unfaithful to her. Amos' schemes fall flat, and he is arrested for swindling. In prison he repents, Shirley's attitude toward him softens, and they are reconciled when he is freed.

While in Spain Alan Randolph falls for famed singer Rosita Mendez, but when he goes back to Louisiana, he returns to his fiancée Violet Beaton. On an American tour Rosita discovers Alan has married Violet. Consumed with jealousy she threatens to kill him with a revolver and in the scuffle is wounded. Full of vengeance Rosita has him jailed for five years. Suddenly contrite she then outlines a plan of escape to Alan, but he refuses until destiny takes a hand.

Olga decides to pose as that lost queen of Sylvania, and travels to that Balkan country accompanied by Knight. Count Mirko, knowing her return will cause usurper troubles, plans to make it appear beneficial to be rid of Olga. However, the people of the country acclaim her as queen and, after a revolt, put her on the throne. Happiness has been restored to Sylvania, but Olga decides that she no longer to pose as a royal and returns to New York with Knight. A lost film.
