A teenager struggles to overcome his addiction to video games, while rediscovering the beauty of nature.

Based on the short story of the same name by Fyodor Dostoyevsky, it is about a young man living in Saint Petersburg who suffers from loneliness. He gets to know and falls in love with a young woman, but the love remains unrequited as the woman misses her lover, with whom she is finally reunited.

A tapestry of seemingly unconnected vignettes beginning with an extraordinary event at the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin, where the victory of the Peruvian football team was declared void. The film mixes the personal with the political and the historical, going from a portrait of an optimistic taxi driver to that of three waiters of a train to that of an alienated outsider living in the Amazonian forest region.

Tony Palmer tells the life story of Sergei Rachmaninoff through the use of home movies, concert footage, and interviews. John Gielgud reads from Rachmaninoff's diaries in a voiceover.

From the Rai “Arturo Toscanini” Auditorium, pianist Vadym Kholodenko performs, for his debut with the Rai Orchestra, Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3 in D minor, perhaps the most complex and demanding of the Russian composer’s four concertos. Conducting is Uzbek maestro Aziz Shokhakimov, who presents the final version, from 1947, of the famous ballet Petrushka, on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of Igor Stravinsky’s death.

At the Moscow suburbs cemetery for thirty years, a shovel for a shovel, the grave friends Sasha and Yura work. The first is a former athlete who undermined his health at the beginning of his career. The patients range from a middle aged woman pleased if surprised by her current pregnancy to a Muslim woman whose marriage to a Russian has blighted her relationship with her family. On the shores of Lake Lucerne, Riccardo Chailly and the Lucerne Festival Orchestra continue their Rachmaninov odyssey with the Symphonic Movement, a rarely performed piece, as well as the Symphonic Dances and the Scherzo in D minor. The highlight of the evening is the Piano Concerto No. 1, performed by Alexander Malofeev, a rising star on the keyboard. Apostrophes was a live, weekly, literary, prime-time, talk show on French television created and hosted by Bernard Pivot. It ran for fifteen years (724 episodes) from January 10, 1975, to June 22, 1990, and was one of the most watched shows on French television (around 6 million regular viewers). It was broadcast on Friday nights on the channel France 2 (which was called "Antenne 2" from 1975 to 1992). The hourlong show was devoted to books, authors and literature. The format varied between one-on-one interviews with a single author and open discussions between four or five authors.

A tranquil tale about two boys from very different upbringings. On one hand you have Kai, born as the son of a prostitute, who's been playing the abandoned piano in the forest near his home ever since he was young. And on the other you have Syuhei, practically breast-fed by the piano as the son of a family of prestigious pianists. Yet it is their common bond with the piano that eventually intertwines their paths in life.
