In this pitch black comedy the rivalry between two neighbors escalates into an all out war. Through a maintenance error on a tractor they both end up, paralyzed, in a wheelchair. It seems they are doomed to stay together. They no longer focus their rage on each other but on the manufacturer of the tractor, in Helsinki. So get ready for a hilarious wheelchair road movie.

Revolution isn't a piece of cake, not even for Noël, the anarcho-burlesque agitator and imperial troublemaker of the international pastry world. And since the road from the great night to the radiant dawn is long, you might as well do it in a Cadillac. Provided, of course, you can find one, because Cadillacs are like the Indignados: the more you talk about them, the fewer you find. But when it comes to getting behind bars, it's still classier than a cell in La Santé prison. Jean-Marc wouldn't disagree. A persevering man, Jean-Marc, not the type to give up. With him, you have to be content with a lot. Long drawn to direct action, he discovers with Noël the charms of a guerrilla revolution. And together they lead us down the back roads, beyond the barriers, guided by the Muses and by chance encounters, irresistibly drawn in by the quest for a better world.

Jan Bucquoy narrates the story of his sexual life to age 28, imagining his conception (parents drunk, the encounter lasting ten seconds) and reporting his first orgasm (at the hands of Eddy, in a beach-side caravan, as they watch Laurel and Hardy), his comparative experiences with girls, and his move from Harelbeck to Brussels. There he meets Greta, bartender at a Bohemian cafe, who teaches him the Kama Sutra, the naked Esther, who reads him stories, and Thérèse, his wife for three years. They split after two children; he moves to a small flat, writes pornography to pay the bills, works sporadically on a novel, espouses anarchism, and meets more women. His self-confidence grows.

This is the story of a father, Jan, a cultural host in a hostile environment, and his daughter Marie, an occasional stripper, who are on the edge of a precipice. She wants to jump and he tries to hold her back. How? By telling him stories, as in the tales of "Arabian nights". As long as he holds her attention, she will not jump.

The Renault factory in Belgium must close down. Nobody can believe it. We follow the investigations by the director who is at the heart of the action and who interviews main politicians, the workers who violently protest and the direction. In the fiction part the president-director of Renault, Schweitzer is killed by one of the workers.

From the filmed imposture of Man Bites Dog to Jan Bucquoy’s fabulist biopic, everything participates in the dynamiting of institutional language through simulacrum and absurdity. This free journey in the “cine-belgitude” has for vocation to approach these marvellous eccentrics followers of a overexcited and stripping situationism.
