In the late 19th century, two Swedish emigrants, Lasse Karlsson and his son Pelle, arrive on the Danish island of Bornholm hoping to find work on a farm and save enough money to travel to the United States of America.

A young, idealistic business student has ambitions to be a concert pianist, but his obsession with beautiful women keeps him from achieving his goal. To earn money for his tuition, he takes a job as headmaster of a small girls' school. There his weakness for beautiful women is put to the test when he is pursued by a bevy of sexy coeds.

The boy Topper is bored. He finds a pencil that proves to have magical powers. Draw a rhino, and right away, you have a real rhino for a companion. A little heavy perhaps, when you live on the second floor. No matter, it's a modern fairy-tale of the baroque, and everything goes. Based on kiddie entertainment by Ole Lund Kirkegaard, but as was the case with the book, the fun is to be enjoyed by one and all.

A group of young people want to change society, so they cut off the head of a statue of Christian IV. The head is hidden in the archives of Director Lund, where Anna has just been hired. Anna teaches Director Lund to be young and liberated. Lund goes along with it but is ultimately betrayed by the group.

Farcial action fun with Bertil and Hugo, who do menial jobs at a big city hotel. Bertil is about to marry and has put money aside for his bride's morning gift. Only Hugo has kind of borrowed the money and blown it all on a wrong bet in a pigeon race. Together, they obviously have to get rich quick. When a diamond seems to be lying around for the taking, the hotel is virtually on its head.

The third film about the two good-natured brothers Søren and Peter and their family on the small island of Bomø. This time, the brothers have acquired a soccer-loving dog named Bølle, who turns out to be able to predict the results of betting pools. This causes chaos in the betting service, on Bomø, and at Christiansborg.

In a large office building, a mysterious murder is committed, after which the body disappears. Lily Hansen, the building's helpful and talkative cleaning lady, is driving the detective investigating the case crazy with her interference. Of course, the mystery can only be solved with her help.

The life and times of the Scandinavian artists' colony who lived in Skagen on the Danish coast during the 1890s. Not so much a biographical account, rather a portrait of a way of life. The painters became famous for the way they used the light in their work, and this has also been mirrored in the cinematography.

A new foreman, Huus, arrives in a sleepy Danish village, much to the delight of the unmarried women there. However, Huus becomes very friendly with Katinka and her husband, Bai, the stationmaster. Katinka, childless and in frail health, gradually falls in love with Huus, though her husband does not seem to notice. Based on the work by Herman Bang.

A group of better-off thirty-somethings meet for a weekend in Knud and Beth's home. The host couple is prone to bickering regularly. The married couples (Jan and Ilse, and Kjeld and Tove) that are visiting understand and try to stay out of the way. Bachelor Lars, however, comes into his own and is a constant source of provocative comments.

The smart and modern Herbert, called Pop, has dropped out of the conservatory and lives as a jazz musician and womanizer. He wins the bet, while Johannes consoles himself with Solvei, the girl who lives downstairs and works in a grocery store. In the end, Johannes and Elisabeth meet on the stairs. Can they still find each other?

Romantic comedy, based on the discovery that eggs from a particular island provide men with great virility and make them irresistible.

The young fisherman Kurt Vinderup returns home to the small fishing village of his childhood after completing his military service in the Royal Danish Navy. On the quay, he meets a young girl named Bitten. He and Bitten had been in the early stages of a relationship before he left for the capital. But in his absence, she has become engaged to his brother Jacob Vinderup.

Ditte is born out of wedlock and lives as a young girl with her old beloved grandmother. As an illegitimate child she is teased in school and more than anything in the world she wants a father. When steady - utterly reliable - herring dealer Lars Petter shows up and tells her that he is marrying Ditte's mother, the little girl is very happy. Now Ditte must take care of three new sisters and brothers but gets nothing but complaints from her ungrateful, selfish mother. But the little girl finds consolation and support in both her sisters and brothers and Lars Petter.

About the young Aarhus businessman Jacob Hansen who is going to a congress in Copenhagen. His competitor in the firm sends his secretary over to spy and bring Jacob into disrepute. The secretary has sympathy for Jacob, creating complications when his wife show up.

Danish version of Kjeld Abell's successful musical comedy from 1935. Clerk Larsen loses the melody of his youth, which he had when he met his wife. His happiness and dreams have disappeared in a bourgeois existence. "It was supposed to be so good, and then it was actually bad," as one of the play's popular songs - 'The Song of Larsen' - goes. But then the quest to find the melody again begins.

The newly rich Mr. Jourdain dreams of climbing the social ladder in 17th-century Paris. And he makes a fool of himself as he tries to become proficient in philosophy, dance, music, and fencing.

Tonnemann lives in one of the wooden sheds at the far end of Islands Brygge, close to Copenhagen's landfill site. But in 1928, he wants to leave this environment behind – to go where the air is fresh and life may offer both security and meaning. The series follows the residents of an apartment building on Copenhagen's Christianshavn, as they go about their daily lives and challenges. There is Olsen, a mover with an old fashion view of the world, Clausen who runs the local pet shop, Egon the career focused assistant, their wives who work hard to keep their spouses lives together, the young couple Tue and Rikke who recently moved in, the hard working caretaker Meyer, who never puts in to much effort, and of course Emma, the innkeeper of Rottehullet, where all the important decisions are made while running up the bar tab. The series was produced by Nordisk Film for Danmarks Radio TV station between the years 1970-77. The series' first director was Ebbe Langberg, then Erik Balling and Tom Hedegaard respectively. The series was conceived by an author team of well-known Danish authors such Leif Panduro, Benny Andersen, and Lise Nørgaard.
