The true story of how businessman Oskar Schindler saved over a thousand Jewish lives from the Nazis while they worked as slaves in his factory during World War II.

The young, recently divorced mother Ronit lives only for her young son and a future with a new man. But then she witnesses the rape of her neighbor Betty and is supposed to identify the perpetrator. His brother, however, does everything in his power to prevent this and does not hesitate to threaten his little son. The terror really begins when Betty, who has been raped, kills herself and the perpetrator is released. Now Ronit has only one option left...to act herself.

Meduzot (the Hebrew word for Jellyfish) tells the story of three very different Israeli women living in Tel Aviv whose intersecting stories weave an unlikely portrait of modern Israeli life. Batya, a catering waitress, takes in a young child apparently abandoned at a local beach. Batya is one of the servers at the wedding reception of Keren, a young bride who breaks her leg in trying to escape from a locked toilet stall, which ruins her chance at a romantic honeymoon in the Caribbean. One of the guests is Joy, a Philippine chore woman attending the event with her employer, and who doesn't speak any Hebrew (she communicates mainly in English), and who is guilt-ridden after having left her young son behind in the Philippines.

A drama about four malcontent and oddly matched characters on a three-day journey. Each an outcast: Gadi, a petty criminal on parole seeking to make his way back into mainstream society; Yitzhak, his pensive, naive, and serious younger brother; Shoshana, a serious criminal who insists on tormenting the group; and a young, pregnant, Russian immigrant who has left her husband an meets up with the other three in a coffee shop. The characters together define their obvious marginalization from society and their search for individual dignity.

Explores the relationship between an eleven-year-old daughter and her ailing mother, who is losing a grasp of reality in the surrounding environment of insensitivity and cruelty.

The plot revolves around a married couple experiencing a midlife crisis, with ups and downs in their relationship and with their children. The film was selected as the Israeli entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 56th Academy Awards, but was not accepted as a nominee.
