This fascinating documentary follows a Chilean-Argentine team of scientists in their search for extremophiles—living organisms that inhabit the most inhospitable conditions on Earth—to understand how, after billions of years of evolution and environmental change, they continue to exist and thrive. The expedition not only traverses stunning, remote landscapes but also invites reflection on the major challenges facing humanity, from climate change to the search for life on other planets.
