Stergios Mikroutsikos

Jo is wild, melancholic, only 15 and today she misses the school bus, once again. Her mother insists she doesn’t have a car, even though it’s parked outside. Furious, Jo tries to damage the car. Her mother intervenes, and that is the last time they will meet in the physical world – at least in body form. Throughout the day, subtle signs and symbols from the dream world quietly surface around her, but she fails to recognize them, indeed Jo is unaware that she is living the last day of her life.

On their last night on a Greek party island, a restless young man abandons his childhood friends to sail with a solitary fisherman—seeking freedom in the open sea, only to find himself truly alone.
