Pak Selamat (the late Zaibo) has handed over the Spanar Jaya workshop to Mat Rock (Opie Zami), who is his loyal worker. However, after almost a year has passed, the Spanar Jaya workshop faces financial problems and carries debts because Mat Rock has no experience in managing a business. Pak Selamat is disappointed with Mat Rock for not sharing the debt problems he is facing. Pak Selamat is willing to help Mat Rock settle the workshop's debts but on one condition: his subordinate, Syasya (Uqasha Senrose), will be brought in to oversee all financial matters, and Zaki (Ben Amir), a mechanic, will become the 'Chief Foreman' to revive the business at Spanar Jaya.

After three years without children, Ravi and Preeti's marriage remains happy until Ravi's mother, Kenchana, interferes in their household affairs. Kenchana urges Ravi to marry another woman, claiming she wants to see her first grandchild before she passes away. Ravi and Preeti then try to have a child because Ravi cannot bear to be separated from his wife. At the same time, Preeti also seeks advice from her neighbor, Fatimah, on how to conceive. Fatimah gladly teaches Preeti but they are still unsuccessful. The relationship between Fatimah and Preeti upsets Kenchana. Kenchana becomes jealous because Preeti is closer to Fatimah than to her, despite being Preeti's mother-in-law. Kenchana complains about this to Ravi. Ravi dismisses it as a trivial matter, which further upsets Kenchana.
