The story of Zaman and Marissa, who have been separated for a long time, accidentally reunite in Casablanca, Morocco on a business matter. That brief encounter has made them realize the mistakes of the past that caused their separation. Both of them are now engaged to their respective partners and Marissa's family is actually preparing for Marissa's wedding ceremony with Zul. When Danial, a wealthy man, confesses his feelings to Orkid that he wishes to marry her, he is asked by Orkid to follow the customs of the Semantan Pendekar lineage. Orkid is a village girl of Semantan descent. Orkid works as an executive in a marketing company owned by Danial, a man of Malay-English heritage. Danial is a wealthy man who lives an English lifestyle. After several months of Orkid working at the company, Danial becomes attracted to her and attempts to woo her. Danial assumes that Orkid will easily fall in love with him because of his wealth. All of Danial's assumptions prove wrong. When Danial confesses his feelings to Orkid that he wishes to marry her, he is asked by Orkid to follow the customs of the Semantan Pendekar lineage. Danial must go and seek permission from his father, Haji Muhamad Jiwa. Haji Muhamad Jiwa is a man of Semantan Pendekar descent. Haji Muhamad Jiwa has different views about people of English blood.
