As the rage against British colonization in Sri Lanka continues, civilians are having a new hope about their new activists.

Aloko Udapadi is a Sinhalese epic historical film based on the story of King Valagamba of Anuradhapura (89 – 77 BCE).

The series follows the journey of an aspiring young woman navigating the highly competitive and chaotic world of modern cinema. Fueled by dreams of becoming a professional actress, she faces the harsh realities of film screen tests, systemic industry bias, and the social pressures of living in a strict women's boarding house. Balancing personal ambitions with societal expectations, she must find her own voice amidst a sea of challenges.

Step into the whimsical kingdom of Ola Mola Pure, a hilarious comedic teledrama where time has delightfully stood still. While the rest of the world navigates the complexities of the 21st century, this eccentric realm is proudly stuck in the 1800s - evoking the ancient, technology-free charm of historic eras like Anuradhapura. In Ola Mola Pure, smartphones and modern luxuries are entirely unheard of; instead, the kingdom thrives on old-world traditions, royal antics, and delightfully backward logic. The show spins endless humor out of the clash between a bygone era's lifestyle and modern-day sensibilities, delivering a witty, laugh-out-loud satire filled with colorful characters, royal mishaps, and chaotic, everyday misunderstandings.
