Seven Versts Before Dawn

In the early days of the Great Patriotic War old Kuzmich from the village of Kurakino guesses that a long war lies ahead. As the village falls under German occupation and repressions intensify, he keeps aloof, arousing suspicions. Following the execution of fellow villagers and accusations of betrayal, Kuzmich agrees to serve as a guide for the German detachment, ostensibly to get a horse and save his family. In reality, however, he is planning a sacrificial deception: through his grandson Vaska, he conveys information about the enemy's route to the Soviet troops. At the critical moment, Kuzmich leads the German mountain troopers into a trap, repeating the feat of Ivan Susanin. At the cost of his own life the old man leads the enemy to perdition, becoming a symbol of the people's resistance.

Masha is a spectacular blonde. But this is not enough for her lover's aristocratic family to accept her as their own. What can be done? Studying would take too long and it’s so boring. That's what her friend keeps telling... And then SHE gets in contact with her husband's spirit and, oh miracle, he answers. SHE sees proof everywhere...and SHE's happy again, SHE's with the love of her life even though he's just a ghost. And then HE appears. Or rather falls down a chimney shaft. HE's a fugitive, framed for the murder HE didn't commit. HE's been in contact with her this whole time. So SHE helps: SHE defends him and wins the case. Somewhere along this emotional roller-coaster SHE lets go of the past pain, her dead husband and finds peace. HE, her chimney guest, will still be there when SHE starts over with a clean slate...

And now, in order to get his friends and his beloved back, Ivan needs to defeat the snowkayaking champion not only in sports competitions, but also in the fight for his best friends.

The film tells about the adventures of a hooligan and dreamer Ivan Semyonov, who is transferred from an elite private gymnasium to an ordinary school on the outskirts of Perm for bad behavior. In the new class, Ivan quickly finds friends and plays pranks even worse, becoming a nightmare for the whole school.
