Dance Moms is an American dance reality series that debuted on Lifetime on July 13, 2011. Created by Collins Avenue Productions, it is set in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at the Abby Lee Dance Company, and follows children's early careers in dance show business and their mothers.

Raising Asia is an American reality television series that debuted on Lifetime on July 29, 2014. This series is a spin-off of Dance Moms. It follows the daily life of Asia Monet Ray, a then eight-year-old dancer, and her family. The show focuses mainly on Asia's career as a dancer/singer and the repercussions fame can have on a family.

Features a dozen promising girl and boy dancers, ages 6 through 13, competing for a $100,000 cash prize and a scholarship to the Young Dancer Program at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York.
