Juna, a university student working late on his thesis in a cramped boarding room becomes increasingly paranoid after discovering reports of a serial killer operating in his neighborhood, as a series of unexplained disturbances begin to blur the line between external threat and his own growing fear.

Suryo (47) is a retired photographer who developed an obsession with photographing human shadows as a representation of the absence of Dewi (42), his wife. Meanwhile, Adzkia (25), Suryo and Dewi's only child, has had to become the family's breadwinner because Suryo is aging and has been suffering from an illness that has worsened since Dewi's passing.
