Suryo (47) is a retired photographer who developed an obsession with photographing human shadows as a representation of the absence of Dewi (42), his wife. Meanwhile, Adzkia (25), Suryo and Dewi's only child, has had to become the family's breadwinner because Suryo is aging and has been suffering from an illness that has worsened since Dewi's passing.

Vanessa fought to preserve the life of her unborn child, until pressure from her lover forced her to abort her most precious possession for the sake of her lover's reputation.

Edo (40), a dedicated teacher who has just been laid off, struggles to regain his rights and role as a husband, which he lost when he lost his job.

When her grades start slipping, Bunga, who’s carrying heavy trauma from home, begins getting called out by the school.
