Divorced father Borko shows up at his daughter Anja's birthday party dressed as a cowboy. After making a fatal mistake, his already fragile relationships unravel, and the line between his western fantasies and reality begins to tear.

Joško is an altar server in a small village in the Goričko region, where the local church is protected by its patron saint, Saint George. Serving at the altar is his most important calling and means everything to him. He recently lost his mother, and in faith he seeks a gentle form of comfort, as if, in the silence of the rituals, he were trying to find her voice.
