An actress prepping for a career defining audition starts to spiral as performance, identity, and reality begin to blur.

A ditzy waitress named Shirley May Holmes falls head-over-heels for Dorothy, a peppermint-clad pinup girl, but she has much to conquer if she wants to land a kiss from Dorothy's candy lips.
