Hiyama Wako

This film is a love story centered around the clumsy yet earnest first love of shy high school boy Nozumu and Kei, a popular girl in his class. It is intertwined with the suspicious death of a classmate, a suicide attempt, and frightening suspicions about a lover.

Nagumo Shuuji, a social studies teacher at Mie Prefecture’s Etsuzan Senior High School, was a former baseball player up until university when he quit after sustaining an injury. Thereafter, he worked as a sports trainer but returned to university at 32 years old in order to pursue his dream of becoming a teacher. However, his peaceful daily life goes through a change after he’s appointed to be the advisor of his school’s baseball club that is on the verge of abolition.

A mysterious, beautiful transfer student named Nanno arrives at a school and begins to provoke the hidden dark side of those around her. By exposing their deepest secrets and lies, she drags them toward an unexpected reckoning. Is she a force for justice, or something far more sinister?
