Yoyogi Johnny is a high school boy who gets on the nerves of his strong-willed girlfriend by spending his time loafing around the school squash club with its eccentric members and meeting his childhood friend Kagura, a recluse. His attitude changes when new girls show up in his world: Deko, a full-throttle passionate new squash player who inspires him to train, and Izumo, a country girl living in Tokyo and working part-time at a used book store. Little by little, Johnny’s daily life changes with romance, friendship, club activities and a squash team competition.

His younger brother, Hiroshi Matsumoto, who was Hide's manager, started to work with Hide's co-producer I.N.A., who had been working on a song with Hide, and his friends to make his brother's will come true. Yuji and I.N.A. struggle under the unusual circumstance that Hide himself is not present, but they are confronted with various difficulties.
