Due to deeply rooted traditions, the girl is forced to marry a stranger, which means she must say goodbye to her home and family. No one takes Laima’s wishes or dreams seriously, as marriage is her duty. However, Laima does not abandon her deepest feelings and seizing an opportunity runs away from the wedding. Her only remaining support is God.

A thirteen-year-old boy Marius is an outcast who often feels invisible to the world around him. One day, he becomes intrigued by a mysterious incident at school, where his biology teacher is injured with a snowball thrown by an unknown classmate.
