A man's simple lie to secure his job escalates into more complex lies when his orthodox boss becomes suspicious.

A young man lands a job by making his employer believe that he is a man of traditional values. However, when suspected of lying, he makes up a false story about having an ill-mannered twin.

Kalyani is married into an aristocratic family. Bhuban Mohan Choudhury is unhappy because his daughter-in-law, Kalyani, has dark skin and is illiterate. Despite this, Kalyani becomes the heart of the family. Over time, Bhuban undergoes a transformation as he witnesses how lovingly Kalyani takes care of everyone in the household. However, Bhuban’s son-in-law, Phatik Chand Basu, who lives in the house, conspires and breaks the unity of the family. Can Kalyani bring the family back together?

The plot revolves around the dark complexioned and uneducated girl and how she convinces everyone that more than appearance and education, it is the character which is important for a woman.

The story revolves around Nayantara, a woman who is perceived as a witch by the villagers. As the narrative unfolds, it gradually reveals whether she is indeed a witch or if her tragic life has led her to appear that way.

In order to help his friends find accommodation, Ajay dons the garb of a homely, married lady. Now, Ajay leads a comical, dual role as he romances his girlfriend on the side.

Chandran lies to his boss that his mother is unwell to get a leave but gets caught. In order to save his job, he is forced to pretend to his boss that he has a good-for-nothing twin brother.

Lalu and Chinta are neighbours and extremely good friends. One morning both of die and reach hell. However Yandyut exclaims that there was a mistake and that they were not the individuals he intended to kill. He orders Lalu and Chinta to be sent back to the earth but the latter claim for a tour of hell as compensation. Soon the friends find themselves back on earth but soon realize that their souls have been exchanges in error. This leads to a series of confusion of themselves as well as their near and dear ones. In the end their souls come back to themselves and there is no bound to their happiness, much to the amusement of the rest who did not know why they were so happy.
