In different parts of rural China, various people explore what makes their communities unique.

The plot spans nearly 30 years and tells the story of a poor boy from the northeast, "Xiao Bao", who follows his village's hairdresser, "Er Ge" (Sha Yi), to Shenzhen, a special zone. The two are forced to take care of the baby, and then they meet up with a cold-hearted young woman named Ma Lu (Ma Li).

At the hotel inheritance ceremony, Wu Xiao Song dramatically met Chen Ying Zi, who was in charge of refurbishing the hotel. Chen Ying Zi became the number one public enemy of merchants in Liaohe Old Street. In order to keep the hotel, Wu Xiao Song had to bite the bullet and contact Chen Ying Zi. In order for Chen Ying Zi to successfully complete the transformation plan, she must also cross the hurdle of the family.
