Bosse enjoys life and summer in a small cabin, he longs for Lajla who promised to come. The calm does not last for a long time, but soon one personality comes after another.

Set in a small Swedish town, the story is centered around three best friends aged 20. Michelle, a photo model, has a drinking problem which leads to a string of one-night-stands, including sex with the hot tempered boyfriend of Anna. She has just moved in with him and is too much in love too see his faults. Petra is their clever friend who must combine being pregnant with operating her own café.

Jim, a boy from Stockholm, arrives at a foster home in Luleå. He is placed in a special class that is putting on a musical under the guidance of an anarchistic and committed teacher. The class consists of young people who are more or less scarred by life and therefore considered incapable of participating in regular school education. For Jim and his classmates, working on the musical becomes a journey filled with conflict, but also a search for validation and self-confidence.

Based on Josef Julius Wecksell's play. The story is set during an era of political unrest in 1590s Sweden, which spills over the Baltic Sea to Finland, then ruled by Sweden. Daniel Hjort, the grim and lonesome assistant to the powerful Fleming family, finds himself caught up between the two opposing parties when Turku Castle is close to coming under siege. In the midst of this, he finds out the truth about the death of his father and sets out on a quest for revenge.

Alongside a tranquil road somewhere in Sweden live a number of people who are pretty much like people in general. When a highly improbable and catastrophic chain of events besets them, it leads to break up and change. A tragicomic story that feels both familiar and alien at the same time.

In rural Sweden of the early 1950s, little Elina goes to school again after recovering from tuberculosis, the same illness that has killed her father a few years earlier. Elina's family belongs to Finnish-speaking Finns frowned upon by a staunch schoolmistress who starts hounding Elina for questioning her authority. Elina's mother, sister, and a liberal young male teacher all try to mediate the ensuing battle of wills between Elina and Miss Holm. Desirée, a modern librarian with urban friends and interests is visiting her late husband's grave when she meets Benny, a simple farmer. After his mother's death Benny lives alone on the run-down farm, desperately seeking a woman to take care of him. In spite of their differences the two have the dream of finding that special someone in common, and fall passionately in love. Benny wants Desirée to move in with him and start a family as soon as possible. But being a farmer's wife is not something she is very enthusiastic about. Just presenting Benny as her boyfriend proves to be an embarrassing experience. And when she gets a tempting job offer in Stockholm she has to consider her priorities carefully.
