The Nest

In a town near Salamanca, an eccentric widower, aged 60, is captivated by an imp, a precocious 13 year old. Alejandro is wealthy and alone, passing time with music, chess, and his shotgun. Gregoria (Goyita) the daughter of a weak-willed policeman and his bullying wife, is a budding naturalist who conspires to meet Alejandro. Even though he knows the village is talking, Alejandro spends time with Goyita, on walks, horseback rides, and dinners. He's enchanted and tells his friend the village priest that he's living for the first time. Goyita makes new demands on Alejandro, and he must decide how to be true to his ethics and to this Platonic yet highly-charged relationship.

The famous couplet singer Mimi Pompon leaves everything to marry Heriberto Promenade, a wealthy merchant of Limoges with five marriages behind her. Of course Mimi has also been widowed five times. Saintpaul, an astute police, suspicious of so many accidental deaths and closely monitor both the mansion. Gradually, we discover that Heriberto, fearing that their wives may betray him, the killer, always with the complicity of her mother.

El Internado Laguna Negra was a Spanish television drama-thriller focusing on the students of a fictional boarding school in a forest, where teenagers are sent by their parents to study. The boarding school is situated in a forest far from the city, on the outskirts on which macabre events occur. The series debut on 24 May 2007, and is a production of Antena 3. Although the show is recorded and produced in HD, it is only broadcast in SD. However, an HD Blu-ray Disc release has been announced.

Lorca: Death of a Poet

Lorca, a great Spanish poet, playwright, and theatre director. García Lorca achieved international recognition as an emblematic member of the Generation of '27. He was executed by Nationalist forces at the beginning of the Spanish Civil War. Nickolas Grace gives a fabulous interpretation in the title role and he even bears a remarkable resemblance to Lorca.
