Saturday, 12 p.m. The countdown has begun for four men on the make for women. Massage studios, last minute shopping, bodybuilding; our men ardently throw themselves into the ritual of appearance. It is impossible to resist the ferociously burlesque and remarkably stereotypical behavior of these characters. We will meet Gérard known as The Bull, Patrice known as The Lion, Jean-Jacques known as The Peacock and Serge known as The Earthworm. All of this is set in the clubs and bars of late night Montréal.

With an unlikely hero who apparently excels at almost anything, this confused saga of survival in the wilderness and accidental murder starts out hard to believe and stays that way. C.H. (Luc Matte) used to be a star player for the Montreal Canadiens and has turned in his puck and hockey stick for the pursuit of women -- as well as a good game of chess (he is a master at that too). He supports himself by waiting tables and one day takes some time off to go on vacation in the Quebec wilderness, where some local thugs give him a hard time. From that point onward, things get worse after one of the hooligans is accidentally killed.

The adventures of Elvira, a 12-year-old girl obsessed with the sea who develops the ability to breathe underwater. Elvira and her dolphin friend Elvar meet a friendly whale, among other creatures, while back on land all is not as it should be.

Three couples meet at one of them for a slide show evening. But nobody takes pleasure in this evening, where triumphs the banality of the exchanges: it is a socialization forced by the bonds of the neighborhood, devoid of empathy or sincerity.

A dying man films his last month.

Jean-Pierre, a young photograph, takes a photo of the same street corner every morning for an entire year. This is to help a friend with the writing of a novel. But Jean-Pierre is not really respecting the rules of the game...

Benjamin, a 10 year-old boy, lives with his mother Charlotte since his dad, Christophe, left. Charlotte is expecting a child from Henri, but is hesitant to tell her son, whom doesn't know about his soon-to-be stepfather. The day of the Epiphany, Benjamin accepts to go help his grandmother Flore prepare the house for the holiday, since the family celebrates Christmas on January 6th also. The boy has prepared a nice gift for his young cousin Simon, suffering from an odd congenital disease. The night of the party, many surprises await the attendees.
