Dhanalakshmi, who is in love with Balaji, runs away when her family tries to get her married to another man. However, her life takes a turn when she meets Arvind, who falls in love with her.

The film was released on September 27, 2006. The film is dubbed into Malayalam as Boss: I Love You and into Hindi as Yeh Kaisa Karz with Gopala Krishna changed to Gaurav Khanna.
