After an alien ship crash lands in a Russian city, many who see the inside and the occupants start to question their own existence while others demand the aliens leave Earth.

The film is set in Moscow, nowadays. The center of events is the miraculously preserved world of a communal apartment – one of the last in our time. It remains almost the same order as it was decades ago – a corridor filled with things, disputes and sometimes squabbles between neighbors, the eternal dream of a separate apartment or at least an expansion of living space. But this is only at the beginning. With the advent of two new tenants, the relationship of neighbors changes, and the apartment itself becomes not just a communal apartment, but a real detective agency. But, everything is in order.

In a large house in the middle of the steppes, the Shamanovs meet for a family gathering. When suddenly the eldest brother Victor appears after a 25 year absence, unspoken family conflicts come to light. Nobody suspects that Victor is escaping his dark past and that killers are looking for his hiding place.

The main characters of the film are residents of different places of this country, most common people, with whom most uncommon things, pure wonders, happen. Semyon and Lyuba, a family of fireguards, have a chance to fulfill a dream – to go to Moscow to take part in their favorite TV show “Field of Miracles” (“Pole Chudes”), where they should make a life choice “trophy or money?” An inexperienced officer of Patrol-Guard Service and at the same time an experienced loser Sanya will have to not only survive his first day of service but also to accept his wife’s labors and to reanimate his partner. Four newly acquainted fellows must by any means fly to Moscow in non-flying weather, and a couple of young lovers must reconcile their irreconcilable parents by some mysterious way. Valera has to decide on a dilemma: to save mankind from the Deluge or just to fly with his karaoke-alien-friends in their old UFO? All these things can happen only once a year – on December, 31!

The story of four friends, former fellow soldiers from Afghanistan, who meet on the eve of Victory Day to see off a comrade on his last journey.

In order to justify himself to the bigwigs of the criminal world, a young "gentleman of street luck", a former orphanage April is forced to take from the "godfather" of the mafia order to eliminate the two individuals who allegedly framed him. At the same time, one of the "targets" of April — confused in his relationship with crime businessman Vova — and he must save his life by agreeing to a very dangerous and questionable case. Naturally at one point their way — the roads intersect, but at the wrong time and in the most unexpected place. In just one night, the film's characters are trying to solve their problems, find the truth and, perhaps, pay a high price for it…

Sveta, her two children and stepfather Semen solemnly celebrate the birthday of the hero-submariner Victor - the first husband of Sveta, who went missing five years ago. Right during a toast to the birthday boy, he unexpectedly returns home and claims that all this time he was fulfilling the task of the Motherland.

The test of feelings, a love triangle, strikes and labor unrest at his native plant are increasingly captivating the protagonist and lead to separation from his wife. Each foray into the factory barricades turns into misfortune, but neither persuasion, nor the arrival of his wife's sister from Moscow, nor the discord with a close friend can stop Valery. But now the passions at the factory have subsided, and our hero is left with nothing: only fragments - no friends, no wife. Instead of his wife there is another woman who saved him from death...
