Rani, a widowed woman, is known for her strength, resilience, and unconditional love for her son.

Madhu, a schoolteacher, goes on a trip to Nagarhole National Park with her son Chandru. But things go awry when Chandru and his friends decide to sneak out and visit the forest.

It is a story about a father and a son which is filled with sentiments or sorrow. Govindankutty (Mohanlal) is on a look out for his unknown father seeking to take revenge by killing him for leaving him and his mother. Then enters Anantha Subramaniam (Sivaji Ganeshan) a rich trader, who comes to Govindankutty's home-town and likes him instantly for his loyalty and honesty.

Surya, a boy belonging to a big family of the town, moves out of the house when ignored by his father Rajivappa. However, after a few years, he comes back to rescue his land against Babu, an evil man.

The teachers are elated, and Solomon quickly works his magic to liven up things, in the process starting a little romance with the teachers' nurse . Unfortunately, a turn of events brings out the real reason behind Solomon's sudden migration to the hills.

Tananam Tananam (Kannada: ತನನಂ ತನನಂ) is a 2006 Indian Kannada romantic musical drama film directed and written by Kavitha Lankesh. The film introduces Shaam, a Tamil actor, to Kannada cinema along with Ramya and Rakshita teaming up together for the first time, in the lead roles. The film was produced by N. M. Suresh and based on a Tamil short story written by Kalki. The film released on 24 November 2006. The film won two Filmfare Awards in Best Actress and Best Lyricist categories. Noted violinist L. Subramaniam was roped in to play violin bits in the film.

Poovalli Induchoodan (Mohanlal) is sentenced for six years prison life for murdering his classmate. Induchoodan, the only son of Justice Maranchery Karunakara Menon (Thilakan) was framed in the case by Manapally Madhavan Nambiar (Narayanan Nair) and his crony DYSP Sankaranarayanan (Bheeman Raghu) to take revenge on idealist judge Menon who had earlier given jail sentence to Manapally in a corruption case. The story begins with Induchoodan released and his father & mother coming to stay with him.

The role played by Major Sundarrajan becomes very attached to his four elephants after they save his life. His wife, however, fears for her child and tells him that he must choose between the animals and his family.

Dudde Doddappa is a 1966 Indian Kannada-language film, directed and produced by B. R. Panthulu. The film stars B. R. Panthulu, M. V. Rajamma, Ramesh and Narasimharaju. It was remade in Tamil as Namma Veettu Lakshmi (1966) and in Telugu as Lakshmi Nivasam (1968).
