"In the shade of fallen chinar" is a short documentary that was shot in kashmir valley a few days before the current unrest began, It takes a peep into the lives of a group of young kashmiri artist's who are also University students. It talks about the factors that inspires their art and how it takes the form of resistance in a conflict ridden Valley.

The film follows young Kashmiri artists as they engage with their cultural past, tracing literary traditions and Sufi folk poetry passed down through generations. Against a backdrop of political turmoil and uncertainty, these artists seek meaning and direction through their work. The film blends visual storytelling with music to provide a deeper insight into the richness of Kashmiri literature and culture.

Inspired by the true story of a Kashmiri Hindu Pandit and a Kashmiri Muslim responsible for the formation of the Real Kashmir Football Club, the first ever club from Jammu and Kashmir to compete in any top-flight football league in India.
