Ah Quan makes a living as a laborer, earning money through physical work. In his spare time, he enjoys gambling, with mixed results—sometimes winning, but mostly losing. The Mimicry

This film is an adaptation of a short story of the same name, written by Kao Yi-feng. It tells the story of a green scarab beetle who has transformed into human form.
