Several directors from countries of the region were invited to create stories taking place in and around the beautiful city of Istanbul, in the vein of “Paris, je t’aime” and “New York, I love you”. They come together to remind viewers that Istanbul’s history does not belong only to the people of Turkey.

September 1980. Mustafa 'Mehmet Ali Alabora' and his wife, who're both laborers are married for 5 years. The couple has nothing to do with politics and spend their days happily with their 3 year old daughter and their TV, despite the clamor of guns clashing outside every night. One Friday morning, they wake up and hear the voice of Hasan Mutlucan on radio and observe soldiers marching through the streets, the very confirmation of the military coup that has taken place. Arrests begin instantly in workplace and neighborhood. Yet Mustafa, far from being disturbed, assumes that all apprehensions must have rightful reasons. Until the night he's taken into custody, charged with the crimes of a militant code named "Sehmuz".

On his first night back in his hometown of Kütahya after living in Paris for many years, Oktay is once again confronted with the reasons that have kept him away from home for so long. As he is about to leave the city again, he happens to walk into the home of a distant relative and meets Ayşe. Ayşe is a rural woman who is unhappy in her marriage and cannot fit into the small world confined by four walls. Oktay and Ayşe find happiness in each other after many years. The only way to sustain their happiness is for Ayşe to go to Paris with Oktay. Ayşe, perhaps for the first time, is faced with the opportunity to be happy and must choose between everything she knows as life. Ayşe’s decision will also determine whether Oktay, who has never felt at home anywhere, will end his “guest” status in his own life.

Four cousins, Seyfettin, Şinasi, Habibe, and Rüknettin, who have been estranged from each other for years for some reason, reunite years later at the request of their dying grandfather. However, their real intention is to find the treasure that their grandfather has been talking about for years. Their dying grandfather gives them a map showing the location of the treasure. After their grandfather passes away, the cousins decide to divide the map into four parts and proceed together. Unfortunately, they discover that the treasure is located inside a prison near the town.

A young and successful entrepreneur has difficulty in coming to terms with his religious upbringing. One day he is pushed into substitute for his ailing friend as the Imam of a small village.

Escaping from their dysfunctional families, Behiye and Handan become best friends. Their euphoria will soon be replaced by regrets and eventual betrayal as class differences resurface.

Kirpi, the vengeful practical joker finally finds a match for his habit: Tahir Yaman. Prank and revenge loop of the duo will drag them to very complicated situations.
