9th-graders Kazuo and Kazumi take a tumble at a temple in a small seacoast town in Japan. Through supernatural intervention, their minds and bodies are switched, and the result is a touching and hilarious coming-of-age comedy as they attempt to survive the pressures of junior high school life.

Mitamura Yuka is a normal, shy high school student. Except for the fact that she has psychic powers. When a new student with similar powers begins to show her skills, creating a force of psychic Nazi student enforcers, Yuka and her friends vow to stop her. But behind it all is a mysterious force that will put Yuka's powers to the ultimate test!

After a passenger ship sinks in 1954, Go Akutsu devises a life-saving project in the form of a tunnel under the Tsugaru Strait. While working on this project Akutsu becomes involved with Tae Makimura leading to his estrangement from his wife.

After her mother’s death, junior high student Yoshiyama Kazuko lives in Yokohama with her father and little sister. One summer night, while stargazing with her childhood friend Goro and little sister Non-chan, they meet Kazuo, a mysterious young man in uniform who seems oddly familiar. After inhaling a lavender-scented mixture in a lab accident, Kazuko gains psychic powers, enabling her to time leap. Her strange experiences lead her closer to a shocking truth—Kazuo is a time traveller from the 27th century. He warns her that hearing the sound of something breaking triggers her time travel, but leaping into the past or future more than a day could bring dire consequences. A feisty Kazuko never bothers; she makes use of her abilities to help those around her until the ultimate price is paid. Her relentless kindness costs her the one person she loves most: her little sister, Non-chan.

This is the first 16mm film by Makoto Tezuka, a multi-talented artist known as a “visualist” who engages in a wide range of creative activities. It depicts the story of fairies inhabiting a modern city through experimental imagery. “SPh” stands for “Spiritual Phenomenon” (fairy phenomenon). It could be described as a unique hybrid of science fiction, mystery, and experimental film.

The story takes place in a future version of Earth where war has been outlawed and owning weapons is forbidden. A galactic real estate syndicate arrives to carve the planet up into subdivisions. To combat the invasion, a genius inventor, Dr. Kiwi, recruits young Michael Marsh, his girlfriend Patti Pumpkin, and rich classmate Camille Cashmere Jr. as fighters by upgrading the kids' robot helpers (known as Janbu, Patigu and Kamigu respectively) into powerful robot fighters. Michael's robot sidekick Janbu becomes the titular Galatt.

Byakkotai was part of Aizu's four-unit military, set up in the domain's drive to finalize its military modernization, in the wake of the Battle of Toba-Fushimi. The other three units were Genbutai, Seiryūtai, and Suzakutai. Each of the four was named after the protecting gods of compass directions. Byakkotai was meant to be a reserve unit, as it was composed of the young teenage 16 to 17 year old sons of Aizu samurai in a group around 350, who fought in the Boshin War (1868–1869)
