A good looking female social welfare worker makes Egon Olsen forget about crimes for some time, but when an American gangster breaks into a local bank and the police think its Egon's work, he has to get back to work to prove he's innocent.

Overwhelmed by personal and professional problems, biologist Friedrich von Kammacher decides to travel abroad in order to regain the joy of living. During his adventurous journey he will meet two very different women, one of whom will be the key to his fate.

Jacob and Else Svendsen are a happily married couple. He is a taxi driver and experiences the small and big events of the big city in a way that only a man behind the wheel of a taxi with the whole city as his workplace can. But a shadow hangs over their marriage – a shadow from the past. Else was married once before, but had to divorce because her former husband, Eigil Rasmussen, suffered from pathological jealousy.

The man-hungry “vampire,” later to be popularized by America’s Theda Bara, made her screen debut in this Danish melodrama directed by August Blom. Clara Wieth starred in the title role of the Vampire Dancer, which is just what she was: a dancer performing her seductions on-stage. Off-stage, the young girl is kindhearted and a bit naïve. Taking place on a small villa road: The two neighbors Gormsen and Sandelund have been at a dispute for years and this evolves into an all out war. Sandelund is a wholesale dealer in meet, a capitalist and has one of this modem houses with a flat roof. Gormsen is a dentist, and a communist, he has a new wife that are younger then his son, and lives in one of these old-fashioned half-timbered houses. A third factor is the merchant Krause. To begin with he is a small time grocer and progresses into the end, a big time businessman. He is a deeply religious man, a good Christian, and member of the parochial church council. There children, (teenagers) find their conflict silly and stupid.

Composer John Berger is plagued by marital problems and struggling with a deadline for the music for an operetta. When he is visited by the muse of music, Polyhymnia, the melodies begin to flow, but she also causes a lot of complications in his earthly life. Like John's wife Irene, she falls in love with flight lieutenant Harry, while her father Zeus looks on disapprovingly and decides to intervene. Meanwhile, the premiere of the operetta is fast approaching.

A young orphan is sent to live in a Danish village where he is cast out because his mother was a West Indian. With nowhere to turn, the ingenious survivor begins devising a new life outside of town.

This comedy is based on Finn Søeborg's text. It is a film full of warmth and joie de vivre, set in "Ravnekrogen", where our friends have built their own community. However, the owner of the place wants to raze the town to the ground.

The three young fishermen, Svend, Knud, and Valdemar, have bought a new cutter, but haven't paid it off yet. It is a real fishing film, but it is not JUST a fishing film. They have been granted deferments from the military several times, but suddenly the bell rings and they are called up as sailors in the Royal Danish Navy.

Nina and Frederik were the big names in international showbiz in the 1950s with their rousing calypso rhythms. That's why "Kærlighedens Melodi" (The Melody of Love) was bound to be a hit when the young, beautiful couple teamed up with the legendary, wonderful "Satchmo," Louis Armstrong, from the world of jazz. Musical interests vary widely in the affluent neighborhood of Hellerup. At the Schmidt wine merchant's, son Peter has only one interest: jazz. At the Supreme Court lawyer's house next door, Mozart is on the program. But his daughters like both jazz and Peter! Even though their fathers are suing each other, the two young people still find each other. And Louis helps when he plays "The Formula for Love."

Peter Soeborg and Susanne have been happily married for a month. He is a postman, but very gifted voice and in a couple of years participated as korherre Alhambra Theatre's operettas. Attorney Helene Hannøe forms close relationships with her troubled clients while trying to solve their problems.

Jørgen von Hejden is very distinguished, but poor. He is something of a fortune hunter. He dreams of getting rich quick. But his skills are not up to the radio quiz show, so he sticks to gambling, roulette, and dice games. When he marries the beautiful and wealthy Marianne, he also gambles. He has married her for her money! But Marianne is not only wealthy, she is also strong-willed. She inherited this trait from her father, shipowner John Christensen.

It may appear to be smooth sailing, but the atmosphere behind the scenes at Poul and Jørgen's racing team is tense: the big race is just around the corner, and a deposed member of the team is trying to sabotage them. As if that's not enough, Jørgen can't stay away from Poul's girlfriend. The danger of capsizing is therefore imminent - but then Poul's cousin Basse appears.

Poul Løwe is young, charming and rich - and his secretary Gretel is the same, except for the rich - and none of them are mutual blind to each other's characteristics, making it difficult for them to concentrate on the typewriter. Oda Holm, who is a very pretty girl, full of sex appeal, claims that Mette, who is also an excellent chairwoman of the chorus girls' organization, is completely devoid of "Oomph". She is incapable of exerting any attraction on men. It becomes too much for Mette.

In the ‘Strandgården’ on Taasinge, the three brothers Østermann Lars, Nikolaj and Hans live a secluded life, they are all three bachelors. Over the years, they have developed into three originals who let their farm fall into disrepair and otherwise do not bother to take care of anything.
