After failing to find stable work in Cairo, Hassanein joins a group of beggars and unwittingly becomes involved with a corrupt businessman who suspects him of being a police informant.

"Hussein" is an honest food inspector who goes to Cairo, and live in a small room on a rooftop, he works overtime, while some rotten businessmen tries to bribe him unsuccessfully, so they set him up for a lifetime in prison, but he escapes and reach out for his girlfriend "Reda", who trick the antagonists to prove Hussein's innocence.

While unemployed, Abo Dahab meets Haridi a drug dealer who hires him and later on gets killed by him and becomes one of the richest drug dealers.

Hassan is aa simple employee whose friend gets him a job with the merchant Salem. Al-Nabrawy, a black market trader, tries to convince Salem to work with him in his illegal business, but he refuses. When documents incriminating Al-Nabrawy falls into Salem's hands, the former tries to get them back.
