Linda and Vanda, two good-looking women in their thirties, are inseparable friends and co-owners of a small bookstore in the city center. Linda is divorced, educated and practical, has a little daughter and a sense of responsibility. Vanda, on the contrary, is single and free, attracting men as a magnet, but none of them is able to keep up with her spontaneity. Edo, shy, sensitive, and introverted gay working with them in the bookstore, longs for love for ages too. The lives of this trio get finally tangled by several men, while everything turns up differently than any of them had expected.

This amusing story, which of course includes a romantic subplot, is significantly influenced by fairy-tale creatures that suddenly emerge from the distant past.

For example, a chair or a hole, which you idiots should try to overcome after fourteen beers. When the theater director fires him and his wife wants him out of the apartment, Anton takes fate into his own hands. And he starts drinking even more.

For the Novák and Bartáček families, money is king, and they'll do just about anything to get it. While René Novák pitches his parents a lucrative scheme to swindle as many people with the last name Novák in the country as possible, the Bartáček clan decides to pretend to be much poorer than they really are in order to siphon some dollars from an American relative. And it doesn't take long before these separate scams start to intertwine.

Their liberating friendship almost becomes a love affair, despite the fact it cannot be fulfilled. This liberation creates an intense bond between them: a new escape, a new quest. This is a love story of two people and their attempts to escape the trap of their own desires of belonging to somebody.

Based on the popular television series Okresní přebor. As the title suggests, the film features the legendary figure of licensed coach Josef Hnátek. Since this man appeared in the series only as ashes scattered on the Houslice football field, the filmmakers decided to introduce him to viewers in his living form. The story of the feature film is set during his lifetime and explores the dilemma of a man for whom football is his whole life. Even more than life itself. The title role of the Houslice personality will be played by theater director, artistic director of Prague's Dejvické Theater, and occasional actor Miroslav Krobot.

Láda Pitras (Ludek Sobota) and Oto Vacák (Petr Nározný) founded in the company Pragokov a Research department of recruitment of labor. For recruitment of workers in professions sought after both recruiters worked out an effective, often almost illegal methods. Modern version of Snowhite fairytale. Girl Katka is frustrated and restless. She escapes from home and find herself in the orphanage. Seven orphan boys hide her and call her "Princess". But Katka is soon uncovered and her frantic mother is on the way...

The village musicians are sceptical at first, but later they start rehearsing with vigour. Standa, a Prague resident who is working in a pig farm to cure his nerves, helps them to organise the concert. He really likes Evica Kocourková, but her father keeps an eye on her. Young Šišák tries to charm the teacher Olina. Before the performance can begin, the band must succeed before the cultural committee. However, they fail to do so. The disappointed musicians play for themselves at the station and suddenly they are successful. Standa comes up with an idea how to push Kulatěnka through without the permission of the commission. A concert of Moravanka is being prepared in nearby Nechvalin.
