Danpyunsun

It all starts on a subway with an unexpected meeting between Hyeon-sik and Ji-yeon. Ji-yeon claims their world is a fabrication—a literal stage set. She speaks of "errors,"strange glitches where time seems to loop and people freeze in their tracks like broken dolls. Amidst this programmed reality, only the "Trumans" possess true agency. As Ji-yeon continues her lonely crusade to find others like her, she leaves Hyeon-sik with a haunting question: "Are you one of the Trumans?"

Can music truly become a rallying cry? Danpyunsun, a veteran of Hongdae's indie scene, forms Danpyunsun & The Moments and records the album Hail to the Music. "Music must be vulgar!" he cries. But after the December 3 Martial Law, the world proves more grotesque than art. So he shouts louder: to those enduring this world—come with me. Fight!
