It tells the story of four Jewish boys during a few summer days at the country club where their parents take them, on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, in 1993. Within the club, the four define themselves as outsiders, since they do not participate in the sports activities that are practiced there, and therefore do not fit into the logic that governs the place, being permanently bothered and mocked by the rest of the children of their age.

Leo and Ana were a very happy couple until she decides to travel to Spain to try her luck as a chef and Leo prefers to stay in Buenos Aires. They separate, but four years later, they meet again.

A separated yet self-sufficient craftswoman puts up a friend who is also separating. The hostess has three teenage children, and the arrival of her guest will interfere with their domestic harmony, apart from slowly but surely causing a hormonal surge in one of the boys.

After twelve years away, Martina and her mother travel to Villa Mercedes where their relatives live, including cousins she has not seen since childhood. Their mothers have a distant relationship due to problems in the family business. A tragedy allows the cousins to bond as they embark on a journey to reconnect with one another.

Hernán, married to Mariela, father of a son and owner of a furniture store, meets Gabriel, a young man with HIV, as a result of a car accident, whom he shelters in his home as if he were a member of the family. Various characters who, at first glance, seem to be free from prejudice, when faced directly with the disease, will have to overcome fear, lack of information, and the tendency to discriminate against this type of patient.

Thirty years after living in Spain, Paco returns to Argentina to sponsor the wedding of a friend. Retired and separated from his Spanish wife, he is reunited with his affections. As always, in the last thirty years, Margarita, and retired as a teacher, life creeps forward. In the wedding party, best man and Paco Margarita like in charge of catering, intersect again but not found, until he discovers a video of the party. Love truncated by the absence and her refusal to answer his letters, reborn in a search for lost time.
