The movie itself premiered in NYC on 12/19/1980. BLACK AND BLUE made the rounds on the 'Midnight Movie' circuit during the early 80's. It was released on VHS in Jan. 1981 and went out of print within a short time. It could only be found for many years as a Japanese import or bootleg.

Recorded live in August of 1988, Dice brings his greatest bits to the Theatre of the Living Arts in Philadelphia.

Outrageous, misogynistic and vulgar-to-the-max comedian Andrew Dice Clay does his stuff in this combination stand-up concert video and series of comedy sketches. The sketches, demonstrating that The Dice Man used to be a klutzy wimp, begin the film which then jumps into a filled-to-capacity performance at Madison Square Gardens. The film contains strong profanity, blatant racist remarks, graphic references to sex and other "adult" subjects.

This is an HBO Special in which Joe Piscopo has 60 minutes to try to do many of his famous impressions. He has mostly his Saturday Night Live friends to help do small skits on the Special.

Taped at The Nassau Coliseum Uniondale, Long Island NY, on December 29, 1982. This 1983 VHS release from Fox/CBS includes the complete version of the concert originally taped for HBO.
