Venice dhas

slice-of-life short film that unfolds within the everyday setting of a local train, exploring gender dynamics, unspoken cues, and the subtle tension of calling out or staying silent

Rajan and Rachel were teenage lovers — wild, intense, and heartbreakingly toxic. What started as love quickly turned into something destructive, leaving behind wounds that time couldn’t fully heal. Years later, Rachel returns to Chennai. Unexpected. Unannounced. Rajan, weighed down by life and memories, is no longer the boy she knew. He’s stuck — numb, lost, and living in the shadows of what was. She hasn’t come to fix the past. But her presence brings it all back — every word, every silence. And with it, a quiet, aching question: “If we met now… softer, older, quieter… would you still choose me?” ‘Unnaku Piditha Ennai’ is a tender heartbreak story about the kind of love that arrives too early… and the unspoken longing that remains long after it’s gone.
