When the evil Yo-Kai Kin, Gin and Bronzlow makes the Yo-Kai Watch disappear from time so they can help Dame Dedtime prevent humans and Yo-Kai from being friends, Nate Adams finds help in the Yo-Kai Hovernyan, who takes Nate, Whisper and Jibanyan 60 years to the past, when the Yo-Kai Watch was first invented by Nate's grandfather, Nathaniel Adams, while he was a boy. Together, the 2 boys fight Dame Dedtime and her evil Wicked Yo-Kai minions to save the world from her evil plans.

A railway stationmaster at a dying end-of-the-line village in Hokkaido is haunted by memories of his dead wife and daughter. When the railroad line is scheduled to be closed, he is offered a job at a hotel, but he is emotionally unable to part with his career as a railroader. His life takes a turn when he meets a young woman with an interest in trains who resembles his daughter.

The story centers on a man who loves movies, having once worked at movie studio in pursuit of his dreams, surrounded by great directors and famous actors. In this tale of love and friendship spanning a lifetime, the "god of cinema" that Go has worshipped since he was young will transcend time, and work a miracle in the lives of one family.

NHK's 102nd morning drama depicts the life of a famous composer. Koyama Yuichi with his wife Oto. They meet each other through music and overcome hardships together. Yuichi composes songs that became "Yells" for people all over Japan in the Showa Era (1926-1989) in which radical changes were going on.　

Returning to its roots, Ken Shimura's classic comedy sketches will be revived, with each episode taking place in a different setting, such as a doctor's office, a park, a police box, an interrogation room, and a train. Of course, well-known characters such as Hen na Ojisan (Weird Uncle) and Grandma Hitomi will make appearances. In addition, the program will also include a location corner where the members will go out of the studio and visit all over Japan to meet local people and introduce their hometown pride!

‘Shimura-ken’ was a comedy variety programme broadcast on the Fuji TV network every Thursday from 14 April 2010 to 28 March 2012, from 1:10 to 1:40 am (late Wednesday night, JST). It was Ken Shimura’s own show, produced by Izawa Office. ‘Shimuraya Desu’ has been revamped as ‘Shimura-ken’! Centred on Ken Shimura, the owner of ‘Ken-chan Ramen’—a small ramen shop in a working-class neighbourhood—and his wife Yuka, the programme features Ryuhei Ueshima, a lazy bloke who visits the shop every day, Katsuhiro Higo, the owner of ‘Poem’—a Showa-era-style coffee shop opposite Ken-chan Ramen— his wife Haruna Kondo, and Haruka Minowa, a part-timer at Poem with a vivid imagination. Set against the backdrop of these two shops—the sort you might find anywhere in a working-class neighbourhood—the show delivers heart-warming, laugh-out-loud sketches born from everyday life! With new regulars Yuri Morishita and Misaki Momose joining the line-up, fresh laughter is guaranteed!

Shimura & Tsurube's Dangerous Travels is a new year variety show that aired on January 2nd of every year from 1998 to 2021 ( excluding 2020 ). Ken Shimura and Tsurube Shofutei, two of the biggest names in comedy in the Japan will be holding talks and games with guests each time.
