The story takes place in the small town of Hakkari in Turkey at the beginning of the '70s. The time has come to bring technology to that small town. The first Television (called Visiontele by the citizens) arrives and the chaos begins.

Kubilay is a young teacher. He has come to the district of Menemen in Izmir as a second lieutenant to do his military service. On their way to Manisa, Çakır Ramazan escapes from the group. Thinking that he will report them, Derviş Mehmet decides to start the uprising in Menemen. In 1973, Dursun Çavuş, who lived in Adıyaman, was a simple citizen who made a living as a postman. Things got complicated when his son Abuzer fell in love with the daughter of the mayor, Reşat Ağa. Dursun Çavuş, who had fallen out with Ağa, was persuaded by his wife Server and his friends to retire and run for mayor.Throughout the election campaign, thousands of Adıyaman residents who never left Dursun Çavuş's side were certain he would become mayor. However, Dursun Çavuş had fallen into an election trap. He lost by three votes.

Erkan lives in his village home with his only grandfather. He is devastated by his grandfather's death. His cousins want to sell the house immediately after his grandfather's death. They evict Erkan from the house through the courts. Erkan will do everything in his power to prevent the house from being sold. The new owner of the house, Demet, moves in. Erkan grows close to Demet, and they become lovers. Meanwhile, the cousins both put the house up for auction and try to ruin Erkan and Demet's relationship. Just as the house is about to be sold, Osman the grandfather reappears. He had not actually died; he had been playing a trick on his cousins. Osman the grandfather drives the cousins away and gives the house to Erkan and Demet.

The story tells of the transition of a newly married couple named Hakan and Nilay from the world to the world of marriage. Their tandem marriage, which lasted for a year, is about to break down. Hakan and Nilay reach the stage of divorce and go to a therapist named Canan. As Canan examines our couple's marriage, we also become guests in the areas of conflict between today's women and men. However, the therapist forces them to reveal the true reason behind their strained relationship. A long-held family secret has become the final straw. Canan pushes them to the limit, but Hakan and Nilay resist revealing the truth until the very end. The story’s conclusion is one that will leave you speechless.

After an unproductive year in a village in Kayseri, the young people of the village are devastated. The cold weather has damaged the fruit trees, and the rainless summer has reduced the harvest by more than half. Four veterans who fought together on the Plevna front during the 1877-1878 Ottoman-Russian War lose their commander in Plevna during a raid. Years later, in 1915, they learn that their commander's nephew, Lieutenant Yusuf, has been taken prisoner in the Battle of Gallipoli. The four elderly men and a disabled young man embark on a prisoner rescue operation.

They arrive in Vizontele, just as the situation is becoming really absurd. Guner brings wisdom; his daughter Tuba brings beauty, innocence and love. Some like the Mayor, Nazmi Dogan and crazy Emin appreciate these things but they are in the minority and confusion continues to reign. The story is based on the memories of writer-director Yılmaz Erdoğan of the last summer of his childhood in Hakkâri, Turkey in 1980.
