Silvana, a middle-aged woman, begins to have violent dreams that evoke traumatic moments from her relationship with her recently deceased husband. In order to rediscover her sexuality, she must confront her past by breaking the silence.

Gerardo, a young father overwhelmed by financial uncertainty, finds himself torn between the need to provide for his wife and two young children and the clandestine actions he could have to take to achieve this.

Alexander, an 18-year-old boy, lives misunderstood, as everyone around him is obsessed with having the approval of the Omniscient Being; an entity to whom offerings are brought and who decides to approve or disapprove them based on whether people follow social norms and stereotypes. In an attempt by Alexander to prove that the Omniscient Being is actually a farce, society forces him to be like everyone else.
