A group of old friends have a tradition of going to a public bathing house on New Year's Eve. Occasionally too much vodka and beer makes two of them unconscious. The problem is that one of them (Sasha) has to go to Leningrad but another one (Zhenya) goes. Zhenya wakes up at Leningrad airport. Believing that he is still in Moscow he takes a taxi and goes home. The street name, building and even apartment number, the way an apartment complex looks the same and the key coincide completely - just typical Soviet-type 'economy' architecture. Imagine the surprise of Nadya when she enters her apartment and finds a man without trousers in her bed. What's more - Nadya's fiancé also finds him there...

A man from a poor noble family named Aldemaro falls in love with the daughter of a rich gentleman. He comes up with a pseudonym and introduces himself as a dance teacher in order to get into their house.

An insurance agent who moonlights as a car thief steals cars various crooks and never from the common people. He sells the stolen cars and gives the money to charity. His best friend, a cop, is assigned to bring in this modern Robin Hood.

For some time now, life in the family of Kozma Josan, the chairman of a collective farm in one of the Moldovan villages, has not been going well. In response to the indifference of his wife, Domnica, the Goat fell in love with Olga, a fellow villager, who reciprocated his feelings. This lavish Soviet/Czech co-production is based on Fyodor Dostoyevsky's famous novel, The Gambler, which tells the story of a Russian living in Germany, in a gambling resort. This film is set at the turn of the century, and was filmed in Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad), Czechoslovakia. Played by Nikolai Burlyayev, the gambler succumbs completely to his addiction, using up every resource he has (human, spiritual and financial) in his wagering, finally becoming a rootless drifter.

A young literature teacher does not like his job. He feels he has to change something in his life. And one day he decides to tell only the truth. This decision leads to a breakup with his fiancée, a series of misunderstandings at school.

Plant director Nazarov and engineer Petrov are constantly at odds with each other. Both dream of taking a vacation so they can spend some time apart. As it happens, they end up in the same mountaineering group. Petrov turns out to be the leader. It took the rigors of group life and considerable difficulties for Nazarov to understand how courageous, humane, and wholehearted Petrov is.
