Gül Öykü Su Okur

For the terminally ill Izzet, time is nearly up. Doctors have given up, prayers and rituals offer little help, and his family's future is now in God's hands. So Izzet spends his time in virtual reality, roaming through the astonishing and otherworldly places of the virtual cosmos. He even meets his girlfriend there…

Reveals the silent yet destructive conflict within a 'modern' middle-class family, where a controlling mother is in constant tension with her daughters-lIgin's fragility and Ege's search for identity. When Ege brings an uninvited guest to her sister Ilgin's birthday dinner, Seçil's obsession with control surfaces, pushing the tension at the table to its peak. The film invites the audience to reflect on family bonds, individual freedom, and the devastating impact of repressed emotions.
