The film is composed of five short stories: "Gulina's Pillow", "Riding With Wind", "Home Elsewhere", "Bala", and "Children Of The World". These stories are connected by strong emotions and depict the unique culture, geography, and harmonious coexistence of different ethnic groups in Altay.

In early spring, Wu Xiuying makes a bold decision to drive several hundred kilometers to Beijing to visit her daughter. Along the way, she encounters various mishaps and unexpected challenges, leading to a journey filled with humor and self-discovery.
