Wilfred Kozub

An exploration of the history of six of Edmonton's shuttered music venues and the communities that grew and evolved around them.

The Moonlight Surfer is an animated video created to a musical composition written and performed for this work by Wilfred Kozub. Using one to four abstract forms as the basic graphic elements, they interact in a fluid sequence synchronized to the music. The video attempts to rise above its minimal graphic form and evoke the sensual feel of the music.
