The decisions these lawyers make often affect them both inside and outside the office and in the courts. Some of them are guided by the law, but others are guided by their hearts—two paths that don't always go hand in hand when it comes to resolving legal conflicts.

This adaptation of the Colombian literary classic follows a wealthy young woman and an idealist poet, two rebellious lovers who flee from the rules of the 20th century into a jungle promising freedom, unaware that an even crueler law reigns there.
