Clifford, a 78-year-old retired Coast Guard officer in Florida, rents out his fishing boat to ease financial strain. His first client, Pedro, a 26-year-old non-binary Latino fashion blogger from New York, plans to film a fishing episode for their YouTube channel. What begins as an uneasy trip turns into a fight for survival when a mechanical failure leaves them stranded at sea. Adrift in open water, the two must confront not only the dangers of the ocean, but the prejudice and mistrust that divide them.

Two brothers have been estranged for years, unaware of each other's lives. They meet again and face off in a final duel to try to resolve a deception that separated them and led to the destruction of their family and the death of their father, a prestigious chess master. Fénix, a former world chess champion, defeated by a fraud committed in his past, lives trapped in dishonor and guilt. Héctor, also a chess master, remains trapped by anger and the need for revenge. When they meet again, they are forced to duel in a final chess match.
