Mirko Stojković

Blagoje Jovović, a war hero, after World War II moves to Buenos Aires. There he tries to lead a normal life, but an encounter with a man with ustasha tattoo brings up old wounds and desire for vengeance.

Everyone has to grow up, to separate from their parents, to start their own family. Luka and Daria try to do this while everything around them is falling apart: friendships, families, even the country.

The series follows the Serbian Kuburović family: the father, Sava, a gendarmerie captain and war veteran nearing retirement—and his son Dušan, who also works in the police force. Also featured are the daughter, Milica (a psychologist-to-be), as well as friends, colleagues, the American administration, and Albanian criminal elements.
